Baby Malia's "Escape from Alcatraz"...

This video is posted for all the doubters, haters, and conspiracy theorists who don't believe Malia has been rolling over from tummy to back since 4 weeks of age. While we would love to attribute it purely to athletic prowess, truly we believe this agile accomplishment is due to sheer stubborness (a trait she so gracefully inherited from her mama n papa). She is a gal who knows what she wants, and frankly, tummy-time ain't it. She isn't always swift at the rolling over process so we posted only a snippet of the whole gig, which can take up to 2 minutes of her hysterical crying and screaming before she succeeds in her getaway... We are so proud of our little Houdini!!!

6 weeks and counting!

As we all know, a rather unfortunate consequence of aging: Hair Loss. Malia is no exception. At the ripe ol' age of 6 weeks, she is experiencing thinning up top. This only adds to the fabulous mullet she has been sporting all this time. We are considering signing her up for the Hair Club for (Wo)Men.
Malia has learned to smile! She is so cute!

Oddly, she seems to get her best sleep on the changing table of all places. Which makes it easy on us, no need to move her for dirty diaper duty.

She LOOOOVES story time and singing nursery rhymes.

Here's a super cute video of Malia and Daddy reading together.

Malia is the Roll-Over Champion!

No one believes us but Malia has rolled over from her tummy to her back FOUR times, beginning at 4 weeks old. We have yet to catch it on video but got a pre-roll photo the other day. We are calling the Olympic scouts now...

After all that rolling over, Malia needed a nap...
She is growing like a weed, in height and weight. She is almost 10 lbs and is about 23 inches long already!

She is learning to love bath time. She is very modest and placed the yellow ducky there herself...

After bathtime, she likes to slip into her favorite Mary Jane's to stay stylish before she hops into bed. As her Aunt Debbie has pointed out, we should all be so lucky to have socks that look like shoes. It would eliminate one whole step from our morning routine and we wouldn't ever have to learn to tie shoelaces.
